CAMPERS

Camp, as well as transportation to and from camp, is provided at no cost to the camper or his/her family. Programs such as Camp Sunrise are extremely limited. To date, there are around twenty-four such programs in the United States, and because of demand, children are being placed on waiting lists. Every year Camp Sunrise provides a camping experience to over 100 children. We anticipate more children to apply for camp each summer.

The camper must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in Camp Sunrise:  

1) 6-17 years of age
2) reside in Ohio
3) impacted (infected, or living with, or grieving the loss of an immediate family member) to HIV/AIDS
4) aware of his/her or his/her family member's diagnosis
